Where Your Contributions Go The Alan J. Lisi Fund is dedicated to partnering with programs that provide assistance for students who would like to pursue a career in Music Education, Composition, and Performance. We will continue to celebrate ALAN'S life by doing what we, and HE loved most. PLAYING MUSIC!
One of the benefactors of the Alan J. Lisi Fund is the Community MusicWorks organization based in Providence, RI. The primary mission of Community MusicWorks is to create a cohesive urban community through music education and performance that transforms the lives of children, families, and musicians. Here are some 2008 specifics:
We purchased and delivered 5 student acoustic guitars to kick off the after-school music program for children at CADC, Pawtucket, RI (American/Cape Verde Group), 10 conductor/music stands delivered to Riverside Family Center after-school Music and Arts Program, one electronic keyboard also was delivered to CADC and you all helped to pay for lessons for one student to study violin for one school year with the after school music program in Scituate, RI. Community MusicWorks received a $500.00 cash donation for their music study program We thank you all for your past support.
